Check dependencies before selecting a platform
An existing brokerage workflow may depend on a particular plugin, terminal program or interface. Confirm the supported version and authorized use with its provider. A platform change can require new interfaces, testing and operational training.
For a new project, define the desired client and staff workflows without assuming every requested function is available in either proposed arrangement. Ask providers to confirm the components and limitations in writing.
Use the same acceptance tests
- Record the required account, platform and operational workflows.
- Verify component availability and technical access for each proposal.
- Exercise the interfaces in the relevant test environment.
- Test permissions, monitoring and recovery, not only a branded login screen.
- Compare the handover and support model as well as the initial launch work.
Make the commercial comparison complete
A proposal may cover hosting while relying on other parties for platform access, connectivity or CRM work. Identify those dependencies and charges before comparing totals. Infrastructure alone does not provide authorization for the brokerage business.
Review MT4 white-label infrastructure and MT5 white-label infrastructure for scoping questions. Use broker hosting planning to document the operating environment regardless of the selected platform.
